Osborne Capital has merged with Hermes Asset Management (www.hermes.co.za) with effect from 1 October, 2009. Until such time as the regulatory requirements have been met to transfer the administration of the Osborne Flexible and the Osborne Equity Funds to the Hermes Management Company, the two funds will continue to operate as detailed below.

Osborne Capital is a fund management company dedicated primarily to the management of South African listed equities.

Osborne Capital manages two registered collective investment schemes (unit trusts) - The Osborne Flexible Fund and The Osborne Equity Fund. Both are actively managed portfolios which aim to outperform the All Share Index as well as competing funds in their respective categories.

The funds are white-label portfolios operating under the Prescient Unit Trust Scheme. Prescient administers the funds.

The funds were launched on 4 May 2005 and 1 August 2006 respectively. Osborne does not charge upfront fees, and accepts a minimum of R100 000.

We, the owners of Osborne Capital are significantly invested in the funds; hence our personal rewards, risks and investment returns are closely aligned to those of our clients.

Osborne Capital is an authorised Financial Services Provider - FSP Licence No. 17476.
